At 139ml this is the smallest thing in the Creme of Nature range, and it is meant to be: a concentrated hair dress rather than a wash day conditioner.

Moroccan argan oil does the work. You use it on dry or damp hair, on the lengths and worked into the scalp, morning or evening, whenever the hair feels dry and the scalp feels tight. It leaves shine behind and makes hair easier to comb, which on 2C to 4A textures is the difference between a style holding and a style fraying.

It is a leave-in, so nothing gets rinsed. Use less than you think. A pot this size lasts because you are working with a small amount at a time, and too much on fine hair reads as greasy rather than glossy.

Application tips

Scoop a little onto a fingertip, warm it between your palms, then smooth it over the lengths and work whatever is left into the scalp along a few partings.

Morning or night, on dry or damp hair. Start with less than feels right and add. Nothing gets rinsed, so any excess stays exactly where you put it until the next wash.

Results

A comb moves more easily within a minute of putting it on, and the shine holds into the next day.

A tight scalp settles. On 4a coils there is enough slip to keep a style from fraying at the edges by mid-week, which is usually where a set starts to look tired. Fine and relaxed hair turns greasy quickly if you overload it, so a 139 ml pot lasts months when used properly.
