Cantu's Smoothing Leave-In runs thinner than their repair cream, which is what makes it usable on 2a waves as well as 3c curls. Pure shea butter softens the strand, and the lotion consistency lets you get it evenly through a whole head in a couple of minutes.

Application tips
Pour rather than scoop, since the lotion is thin enough to run. A palmful on damp hair, spread through the mid-lengths and ends, then comb through from the bottom up.
It sits well under a gel or a cream if you want more definition afterwards. On dry hair, use a fraction of the amount on the ends alone.
