Detangling dry hair is where most breakage happens. A mist solves that by putting water and conditioner back before the comb goes anywhere near the knots.
Cantu's version carries shea butter in a sprayable base, so you get slip and moisture without the weight of a cream. It works on wash day as a first pass after towel-drying, and just as well on day three when a style needs reviving and you do not want to add more product to the length.
Spray section by section, comb through from the ends up, then style. Frizz and flyaways settle as the hair dries.

Application tips
Mist it over damp hair straight after washing, section by section, until the hair looks evenly wet again. Comb through while it is still on.
It also works on dry hair mid-week, though use less and keep it off the roots. Do not layer it under a heavy cream on fine hair, or the two together will flatten the lift.
Results
Dry hair takes the moisture quickly and softens without gaining weight, which is the advantage a mist has over a cream. Tangles loosen enough to comb straight after.
Frizz settles and dull lengths pick up some shine, and because there is nothing heavy in it, a second application later in the week does not build up on the strand.
