Grapeseed is a lighter oil than most of what Cantu builds around, and that shows in how this curling cream behaves. It defines without the coated feeling you get from a heavier shea-led cream, so curls keep their bounce instead of being weighed into ringlets that hang.
That makes it a sensible pick across a wide range of textures, from 2c waves that flatten easily to 4b coils that want moisture but not weight. It is a cream, not a gel, so expect softness and separation rather than a hard cast you have to break out afterwards.
Rake it through soaking wet hair, scrunch, then leave it alone while it dries. Going back in with your hands halfway through is what causes the frizz, not the product. 12 oz / 340 gm, and it works as a standalone styler on wash day or underneath a gel if you want more hold.

Application tips
Straight out of the shower, hair still dripping. Rake it through in sections with your fingers spread, then scrunch upward in handfuls until you hear the water move.
Air dry or diffuse on low heat. If you want more hold, put a gel over the top while the cream is still wet rather than waiting for it to set.
Results
Curls come out soft and separated with movement left in them, not glued into ringlets. There is no cast to break, so what you see when it dries is what you keep.
Fine waves hold their lift instead of being dragged down, and tighter coils stay moisturised into day two. Frizz sits low without the hair feeling coated.
