Argan oil does the main work, softening the strand and putting shine back into lengths that have gone dull from heat and chemical processing. It is a cream rather than a lotion, so it has enough body to sit on dry, over-styled hair instead of vanishing on contact. Elasticity improves with repeat use, and elasticity is what stops mid-lengths snapping.
Apply to damp hair after washing, concentrating on the ends and any section that feels rough to the touch. Leave it in. Suits 2c through to 4b textures, and it is one of the few Cantu leave-ins that works as well on chemically treated hair as it does on natural.

Application tips
Warm a scoop between your palms before it goes near the hair, since a thick cream applied cold sits in lumps.
Damp hair, ends and mid lengths, then comb through. It holds up under a blow dry or a roller set, and it is worth topping up the ends on the days between washes when they start feeling rough again.
