Application tips
Wet hair takes gel best. For defined curls, rake a generous amount through each section, then scrunch upward and leave it.
For a slicked back style, work it in with a soft bristle brush and tie a scarf around the hairline for ten minutes while it sets. Let everything dry fully before you touch it, whichever style you are after.
Results
Curls hold their shape with movement left in them, and clumps stay soft rather than welding together.
Nothing flakes as it dries and the scalp stays comfortable, which is where cheaper gels give themselves away. Shea butter keeps the finish from going dry and papery, so hair still feels conditioned underneath the hold.
