Frizz and tangles are the same problem wearing two hats.

Both come from a rough cuticle and not enough slip, and a cream conditioner is the standard answer to both. Bounce Curl's Super Smooth sits on the richer side of a rinse-out without crossing into deep treatment territory, which makes it a sensible weekly conditioner for looser textures, 2A through 3B, that would be weighed down by anything heavier. The slip is the point. You want to be able to run a wide-tooth comb from ends to roots in one pass while the conditioner is still on the hair, because that is when detangling costs the least breakage.

It comes in 236ml. Apply after shampoo, comb through, leave it while you finish washing, then rinse. If your ends are especially rough, leave a trace in rather than rinsing completely clean, and let the hair dry from there.

Application tips

Wring the hair out first so the cream is not diluted on contact. Take a palmful for shoulder length, spread it root to tip, then bring a wide-tooth comb through in one pass from the ends up.

The slip is at its best in the first minute, so detangle then rather than later. Finish with a cool rinse.

Results

Tangles come out with a comb rather than with force, which is the difference between losing five hairs and losing fifty. The cuticle lies flatter, so frizz drops and the hair looks smoother as it dries. Curls stay defined instead of being weighed down, and the weight is right for looser textures that a mask would flatten. Softness lasts to the next wash.
