Olive oil is a heavier oil than most, and that is deliberate here. Coarser, drier textures need something with enough weight to stay put, and a light spray leave-in tends to evaporate off before it has done anything.
Blue Magic's olive oil version pairs that oil with aloe vera, so there is a humectant working alongside the emollient. The combination goes after dryness first and curl control second, smoothing coils and waves so they clump instead of frizzing apart.

Being a jar product, it is thicker than a pump leave-in. Emulsify a small scoop between your palms first, then press it through damp sections, ends upward. Reapply lightly wherever the hair looks dull or feels dry. The 14oz jar will last months at that rate.

Application tips
Four sections, clipped apart, is the way to do this without either missing a patch or using three times what you need. Damp hair, a small scoop softened in the palms, smoothed down the section and then finger-coiled or twisted if you want definition from it.
Relaxed hair takes it on the lengths and nothing at the root. Leave it to dry fully before you take twists down.
Results
Coils and waves clump together instead of separating into frizz, and the definition survives a humid afternoon. Coarse hair stays comfortable for two or three days between applications. Twist-outs come down softer and hold their shape rather than dropping flat. On relaxed hair the finish is smooth without the greasy look that too much oil leaves at the root.
