Thick hair breaks accessories. A claw clip that works beautifully on fine hair will spring open, snap a tooth, or slide straight out when it is asked to hold a genuinely dense section, which is why people with thick hair end up with a drawer of failures.

Beauuty Collection's range is built with that in mind at one end and with fine hair at the other. The claw clips are made for volume, with a jaw and a spring that can take a full section. The silk scrunchies go the other way, holding gently enough that fine hair comes out without a crease or a snapped end.

Everything in the range is made from materials chosen to hold rather than to grip, and the difference between those two words is most of what determines whether an accessory damages hair. Good for daily wear, and good for the styles you keep in for a full day rather than an hour.

Two ends of the same problem, covered by one range.

Application tips

Thick hair goes into a claw clip in a full twist, not a loose fold. Gather everything, twist upwards until the length sits flat against the head, then clamp from underneath so the weight loads onto the spine of the clip rather than the tips of the teeth.

Fine hair wants the opposite approach: a silk scrunchie, wrapped twice, positioned where it will not be pulled tighter through the day.

Results

Dense sections stay held rather than working loose and sliding out by lunchtime, and the teeth take the load without splaying. Fine hair comes out uncreased and unbroken, which is the failure mode at that end of the range. Both hold long enough for styles you keep in all day, and neither leaves the scalp aching where the weight sat.
