Application tips
Satin and velvet pieces go on dry hair. Both slide, so gather the ponytail higher than you want it to sit and let it settle. Metal grips want a small backcomb at the root to bite into, otherwise they travel down the section over an hour.
Wrap a satin tie twice and stop there. A third turn is where the tension starts to tell, whatever the material.
