Application tips
Thread several beads onto the tool first, then hook the loop around the end of the braid and slide them down into place.
Secure underneath with a small elastic so nothing works its way off during the day. To take them out, slide each bead back up towards the root and off, rather than dragging it over the elastic.
Results
A plain set of braids turns into something finished, and the colours can be swapped in ten minutes without touching the braids underneath. Beads hold their position through the day instead of sliding about.
Children generally sit still for it because the result is immediate. The tool is what makes it quick, since threading a bead by hand is a five-minute job on its own.
