It is a scalp product rather than a hair one, built on vitamin E and flaxseed oil and applied straight to the parts. The texture is light enough to go on without soaking the style, so braids and twists stay neat while the scalp underneath stops feeling so dry and tight.
Part the hair where you can reach, run a small amount along the scalp, and massage it in with your fingertips for a minute. Two or three times a week between washes is plenty.
It suits type 2a through 3b hair and works the same on loose hair or a fresh set of braids. The 8oz bottle is small enough for a child to hold, if they want to do it themselves.
