Braid gel with the emphasis on the twist-out rather than the install. Hold Tight is what you put on before you two-strand, so the twist sets properly overnight and opens up defined instead of fluffy.
The hold is flexible rather than rigid. Curls keep their shape but the style still moves, and there is no shell to crack when you separate the twists in the morning. Frizz stays down through the day, which is the usual failure point on a second-day twist-out.
It carries moisture with it rather than drying the hair out under the hold, so you are not undoing your conditioning work every time you set a style.
7.5oz jar. Work it through damp sections, twist or plait, and leave it to dry fully before you take it down. Best on type 3 and looser type 4 hair, where definition is the goal and you still want volume left in it.
