Shrinkage is the thing that surprises people about curly hair: eight inches of curl reading as three in the mirror. This gel is built to stretch the curl out so the length shows, without pulling the pattern flat. It is aimed at 2c through 4b hair, where shrinkage costs the most visible length.
Flaxseed is the base, which is where the omega-3 fatty acids come from, with conditioning agents and botanical oils alongside. It elongates without flaking, caking or drying to a tacky film, so the hair stays soft and moves properly once it is dry.
