Shrinkage is a sign of healthy spring rather than damage, but it is frustrating when hair that reaches your shoulders wet sits at your ears dry. An elongating gel works with weight and hold to keep more of that length visible.
Don't Shrink is a flake-free gel with a flexible set. Applied to soaking hair and stretched as it dries, it holds the curl in a longer form instead of letting it coil all the way back up. Flaxseed oil keeps the formula moisturising, so the stretch does not come at the cost of dry, crispy hair.
Technique does half the work. Apply in parts on wet hair, smooth downwards, then band the sections, twist them, or clip the roots while everything dries. Let it dry fully before you separate anything.
Made for type 2c through 4b, where shrinkage shows most. The 15 oz tub covers a good few wash days, since an elongating set uses more product than a wash-and-go does.
