The base is a water and Ceteareth-25 gel, with glycerin and propylene glycol drawing in moisture so the hairline stays supple rather than brittle. Rosemary leaf oil, peppermint oil and biotin sit in the mix, and PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil keeps the finish natural rather than greasy.

How to use it
Start with clean, dry edges. Pick up a small amount on a fingertip and smooth it on with your fingers, a fine-tooth comb or an edge brush, working in small sections until the baby hairs sit where you want them. Tie a silk scarf around your hairline for a few minutes to set, then style the rest of your hair as usual.

Application tips
Warm a small amount on the fingertip before it touches the hairline, and use less than looks right.
Brush in the direction the swirl already goes rather than fighting it, then tie a satin scarf over the front for ten minutes while you finish the rest. Wash the hairline properly at the end of the day instead of adding a fresh layer over the old one.
