A 99% aloe vera gel is one of the more useful things to keep in a curly hair kit, because it works as a light styler on hair and a plain moisturiser on skin without being formulated for either job specifically.
Aloe Pura's is made from organically grown Aloe barbadensis, processed so the plant's polysaccharides and enzymes survive into the bottle. On hair it adds slip and a soft cast for wash-and-go styling, and it sits happily under a cream or a gel if you want more hold on top. On skin it goes on cool and dries down without a film, which is why it gets reached for after sun or after shaving. It suits sensitive skin as readily as anything else, and there is 200ml / 6.76 oz in the bottle.
Nothing about it is complicated. Smooth a thin layer over damp skin, or work it through wet sections of hair before you shape them, and repeat as often as you like. It is the kind of product that earns its place by being unfussy rather than by doing one thing brilliantly.

Application tips
On hair, smooth a small amount over damp lengths as a light leave-in, or work it into the scalp before a wash and rinse it out. As a styling gel it will set a soft wash-and-go on wet curls. On skin, apply to clean skin and let it sink in before anything else goes on top. Keep the tube in the fridge and the cooling effect is stronger still.
Results
Skin feels cooled and comfortable within seconds and there is no film left behind once it sinks in.
On hair the gel gives light moisture and a soft, flexible hold that suits fine curls a heavier product would flatten. A scalp that feels tight and dry settles down. At 99% aloe there is very little else in the tube to react to.
