African Pride Moisture Miracle Edge Styling Wax 6oz
Edges are the fussiest hair on the head.
They are shorter, finer and under constant tension from whatever style is pulling on them, so they need a product with grip that is not going to snap them off.
This 6oz wax is built for that job and nothing else. Aloe and coconut make up the conditioning side, and the wax holds without leaving the hairline tacky or white. Tack matters more than people think: a sticky edge collects lint and gets rubbed at, and rubbing is what breaks short hairs.
Take a small amount on your fingertips, smooth it along the hairline, then shape with a soft brush or a fine comb. Use it after the main style is set rather than before. It works on any texture with edges refusing to lie down, which is most of them at some point.

Application tips
Fingertips first, brush second. Take a small amount on the pads of two fingers and press it into the hairline rather than dragging it across, so the wax reaches the short hairs underneath. A soft edge brush then lays them in the direction you want. Work one temple at a time. Wrap the finished edges in a scarf for a few minutes and they hold much better.
Results
Edges lie flat and stay flat, including the stubborn baby hairs that spring back up an hour after a gel. The wax finish is not tacky, so a scarf or a hood will not lift it off again. Aloe and coconut keep the hairline conditioned while it is held, and because nothing sets rigid, the fine hairs at the front take less strain.
