Section the hair, warm a small amount between your palms, then work it through damp or dry hair and leave it in. On a twist-out, apply before you twist rather than after. If you want more hold than it gives on its own, layer a gel over the top once the cream is evenly distributed.

Application tips
Small amounts, built up. Warm the cream between your palms first so it spreads instead of sitting in clumps, then take it through one section at a time from the ends upward. Damp hair takes it best, though dry hair works if you are refreshing a twist-out. Nothing gets rinsed. Go straight into whatever you are setting: two-strand twists, flat braids, finger coils or rods.
