Application tips
Read the leaflet in the box before anything else, and do the patch and strand tests it asks for. Base the scalp and the hairline thoroughly with the protective creme.
No lye still means alkaline, so keep to the stated time and do not stretch it for a straighter result. Apply to new growth only on a retouch, never over hair that has already been relaxed. Rinse for several minutes, then neutralise.
Results
Coarse, tightly coiled hair comes out smooth and straight, and stays that way until the new growth shows. Detangling and morning styling both get much quicker, which for a child is the real gain.
Because each pot is measured for one application there is no ratio to judge and no half mixed tub left in a cupboard.
The result comes out even from crown to nape, which is usually where a home relaxer goes wrong.
