Lemon has been lightening hair on beaches for as long as people have been sitting in the sun with it, and A3 have put the idea into a controlled 30ml serum instead of a squeezed wedge.
It works gradually. This is not bleach and it will not lift a level in one go. What it does is brighten tones that are already light, so blonde, highlighted and naturally fair hair get warmer and clearer over repeated use.

Dark hair will get very little from it, and that is worth being clear about before you order. If your hair is mid-brown or darker, this is not the product for you. On blonde and highlighted hair, applied to the mid-lengths and ends, it does what it says over a few weeks.
