Application tips
Shake it hard before every use. The blend separates in the bottle and the useful part settles at the bottom. Tip a few drops straight onto the fingertips and press them into the scalp along partings, then take what is left through the lengths.
On braids or twists, apply at the roots and along the parting only. Once it is in, leave it. Reapplying on top of yesterday's is where the greasy look starts.
Results
The strand softens, so combing and detangling stop taking pieces of hair with them and length holds instead of snapping off at the ends. Scalp feels conditioned rather than tight. Hair looks less dull within a couple of applications. The smell is the honest trade-off, heavy and herbal and persistent, and most people stop registering it after a week of use.
