WEN is the product that made cleansing conditioners a category, and the first wash takes some getting used to. Nothing foams. You massage it into the scalp for longer than feels reasonable, rinse for longer than feels reasonable, and the hair comes out clean anyway. The lather was never doing the cleaning.
The Sweet Almond Mint version is 16 oz and works across the widest range of hair types in the line, from fine strands that get flattened by conditioner to curls that need everything they can get. It cleanses and conditions in one step, leaves the hair's own oils where they are, and is safe on colour. Rosemary extract is in the formula, and the mint gives the scalp a light cool feel while you work it in. Use more of it than you would use of shampoo, concentrate it at the scalp, and rinse thoroughly. Softness, body and shine build over the first few washes, once the hair has adjusted to not being stripped. If you use a lot of styling product, keep a clarifying wash in rotation.

Application tips
Wet the hair through, then use far more than a shampoo dose and work it in from the scalp outwards. Massage with fingertips for a few minutes, since that is where the cleaning actually happens.
Take what is left down the lengths, leave it while you finish, then rinse until the water runs clean. If the hair feels heavy after, you under-rinsed rather than overused.
Results
Fine hair keeps its body instead of being flattened, and curls hold the moisture they normally lose in a wash. Colour holds too.
The mint gives a light cool feel across the scalp while you work it in, then goes in the rinse. Expect the hair to feel different for a fortnight while it adjusts to being washed without detergent.
