Application tips
Work the lever with the thumb of the hand already holding the clipper, opening and closing it as you travel rather than between passes. That is the skill this machine teaches you.
It will cut wet hair, worth knowing when someone sits down straight from the basin. Brush the teeth out at the end of every head, and dry the blade properly before it goes back on the shelf.
Results
Tapers come out graduated instead of stepped, since you can shorten by a fraction without breaking the stroke.
Thick, wet or coarse hair goes through without the motor bogging down or the teeth tugging. Lines finish crisp off the ground blades. There is nothing to charge overnight either, which suits a clipper that tends to get picked up at short notice.
