The No.2419BLA has a long tapered tail, sometimes called a bone tail, sometimes a rat tail. Either way the purpose is the same: a fine end you can draw along the scalp to lift out a clean section, hold it aside, and get an even weave for highlights or a straight line for a parting. The teeth end does the rest, teasing at the crown for height or smoothing a section back down once it is set.
Anti-static plastic keeps flyaways from climbing up the comb as you work, and the body is heat-resistant enough to sit near a dryer without warping.
