Lemon does two useful things in a dandruff shampoo, cutting through excess oil and leaving the scalp feeling genuinely clean afterwards. This one pairs that with a proper anti-dandruff active, so it is doing more than smelling fresh. Gentle enough for regular washing.

Zinc pyrithione is the anti-dandruff ingredient. Lemon fruit extract acts as a natural astringent, balancing oil production and lifting dead skin from the scalp, with tea tree leaf oil and neem leaf extract alongside it. Menthol supplies the cooling hit, and dimethiconol and polyquaternium-10 condition so hair combs out smooth.

How to use it

Wet the hair through with warm water. Work a small amount into the wet scalp and hair with your fingertips until it lathers, concentrating on the scalp where flakes gather. Rinse thoroughly, and finish with cooler water if you want the cuticle to lie flat. Repeat if you need to, then condition, keeping it off the scalp if yours runs oily.

For flaky, itchy or oily scalps, used as often as you wash.
