Garlic has been in hair oils across the Mediterranean and South Asia for a very long time, and the reason is sulphur. Hair is largely keratin, keratin is held together by sulphur bonds, and sulphur-rich plants have been folded into strengthening oils on that logic for centuries.
Whether the logic holds up in a bottle is a separate question. What is fair to say is that this is a strengthening oil rather than a moisturising one, and the people who pick it are usually dealing with hair that breaks under a comb rather than hair that feels parched.
Vatika soften the garlic considerably. It is noticeable while the oil is on the hair and gone after a proper wash, but it is still the reason most people use this at night or on a day at home. 200 ml, applied to dry hair, left an hour, then shampooed out twice. Works across wavy, curly and coily textures.
