Application tips
Night before, on dry hair, is when this one earns its keep.
Tip a little into a bowl, dip your fingertips, and work along the scalp in rows before smoothing what is left through the lengths. Cover with a scarf or an old pillowcase. Shampoo it out in the morning. If you would rather not sleep in oil, half an hour under a warm towel does most of the same work.
Results
Hair that has gone brittle at the ends takes this better than hair that is simply dry. The effect builds slowly, so judge it after a month of weekly use rather than after one go.
Expect the scalp to feel conditioned between washes, the ends to stop catching, and dull mid-lengths to pick up a bit of gloss. The peppery smell is faint in the blend and gone once washed.
