The pigments are micro-fine, which is what lets them settle onto the hair and the scalp evenly rather than landing as a visible patch. Sprayed from a short distance onto a dry parting, it blends into the surrounding colour instead of sitting on top of it, and the 57g can lasts a lot of touch-ups because each one takes a couple of seconds.
It is temporary and comes out when you wash, which is the trade for something this quick. Nothing is being deposited into the hair, so there is no line to grow out and no effect on your next colour appointment. Useful before a meeting, before a photograph, or on any morning when the appointment is still a week away.
