The pigments are micro-fine, which is what lets them settle onto the hair and the scalp evenly rather than landing as a visible patch. Sprayed from a short distance onto a dry parting, it blends into the surrounding colour instead of sitting on top of it, and the 57g can lasts a lot of touch-ups because each one takes a couple of seconds.
It is temporary and comes out when you wash, which is the trade for something this quick. Nothing is being deposited into the hair, so there is no line to grow out and no effect on your next colour appointment. Application tips
Dry hair only, and style it first. Anything you do after spraying will lift the powder off.
Shield your forehead and ears with a hand or a tissue, then work in quick bursts along the parting, moving the can rather than holding it in one spot. Pat gently with a fingertip to soften any hard edge. Let it set for a minute before a hat or a scarf goes near it.
Results
Silver regrowth along a parting stops catching the light, and thinner patches at the temples read as fuller because the scalp underneath is no longer showing through pale.
The finish is matte rather than shiny, so it passes in daylight and on camera. It stays put through a working day and lifts out completely in the next shampoo, leaving nothing behind for your colourist to work around.
