Application tips
Litre bottles are awkward over a basin, so decant into a pump bottle and keep the big one under the sink.
Two pumps for short hair, four for long. Massage into a wet scalp for about thirty seconds, which is longer than most people bother with and where most of the cleaning happens. Rinse thoroughly, then condition the ends only, since this shampoo is doing the lifting.
Results
The finish is clean without being stripped. Hair dries lighter, roots hold their lift for an extra day, and the citrus smell fades to nothing rather than lingering the way heavier fragrances do.
On fine hair that goes limp by the afternoon it buys back some body. On thick hair it works best as the first of two washes, clearing the way before a conditioning shampoo does the softening.
