Application tips
Once a week is plenty, and once a fortnight is fine if your hair is coarse or coloured.
Wet the hair right through, then work a small amount into the scalp with the pads of your fingers rather than your nails. Let the lather run down the lengths on its own. Rinse, repeat only if the first wash barely foamed, and follow with a conditioner or a mask, because a clarifying wash leaves the hair squeaky.
Results
Weeks of gel, dry shampoo and hard water sit on the hair as a dull grey film that no amount of styling will shift. This strips it.
