XX Dark means a longer roast. The beans spend more time over the heat before pressing, so the oil comes out darker, thicker and higher in ash, with a stronger burnt smell than the original. Wild char oil is blended in, which pushes it further in the same direction.
This is the heaviest oil in the Tropic Isle range, and that is a feature rather than a drawback if your hair is coarse and dry and lighter oils disappear on it within a day. It holds moisture in place on the ends and gives the scalp a proper conditioning layer.
Warm it between your palms first, since it pours slowly. Apply along the partings and press the rest through the ends of damp hair. Best on type 3b through 4c textures that need something with real weight. 118ml/3.99 oz.
