Application tips
Take less than a fingertip and warm it until it turns from paste to liquid before it goes near the hair. Cold, it drags.
Under a protective style, work along the visible partings, then pull the remainder down each braid by squeezing rather than stroking. On loose hair it is an ends-only product. Go back over it every two or three days while the style is in.
Results
Ends stay pliable under braids and twists for the full run of the style rather than going crisp by the second week.
The coconut softens on contact and the castor oil holds it there, so hair does not dry out and roughen between applications. Shine is low and warm. The sweet smell is far easier to live with than the plain roasted oil if smoke is not your thing.
