Application tips
Wet the hair right through before the first pump. With no sulphates in it the lather comes up slowly and stays modest, and adding more product will not fix that.
Concentrate it at the scalp and work in rows with the pads of your fingers. One wash covers a normal week, two if you have been layering butters. Rinse for longer than feels necessary, then go straight into the matching conditioner.
Results
The scalp comes out clean without that tight, stripped feeling, and the hair holds enough moisture through the rinse that a comb will move before you have conditioned.
A week of leave-ins and oils lifts away without needing a clarifying wash. Curls stay soft and separated rather than squeaking. It is a mild everyday cleanser, so heavy silicone users will want something stronger now and again.
