Application tips
Work in two stages if the hair has product in it: a quick first wash to shift the build-up, rinse, then a second that stays on the scalp for a minute.
Fingertips only, in small circles, and let the run-off clean the lengths. Rinse thoroughly, since shampoo left sitting at the roots is what makes hair feel dry afterwards. Once or twice a week is plenty for relaxed or natural hair.
Results
Nothing is stripped out, which matters on relaxed, coloured or natural hair. The scalp feels clean rather than tight, and the lengths stay soft enough to get a comb through before conditioner has gone anywhere near them.
