Application tips
Clean hair only, and get the excess water out first. Section into four, coat the mid-lengths and tips thickly, and skip the scalp entirely.
A cap and twenty minutes is the standard run. If you have a hooded dryer, or the patience to sit under a warm towel, ten of those minutes with gentle heat does more than the full twenty cold. Rinse thoroughly and follow with something light if the hair feels stiff.
Results
Brittle mid-lengths come back with some give in them, so a strand pulled between two fingers stretches and returns instead of parting.
The cuticle lies flatter, which shows up as less catching between strands and a duller sort of shine that looks like hair rather than gloss. Hair dries with more body, and colour-treated lengths take a comb better for several days afterwards.
