What it does is put enough moisture and substance back into the strand that it flexes under tension rather than giving way, and that shows up as fewer short broken hairs over a few weeks rather than as an overnight change. It works across curly, coily and textured hair, type 2a through 4a, and on straighter hair that has taken chemical damage. Use it as your conditioner after shampoo, or leave it on longer as a treatment when the hair has had a hard month.

Application tips
Use it straight after the shampoo rinse, on hair you have squeezed out rather than towel-rubbed.
Rake a coat through from ear level down, leaving the scalp alone, then give the tips a second pass. Two or three minutes covers the everyday version. Comb it through with something wide-toothed while it is still slippery, then rinse until the water runs clear. Fragile ends do better on a cool rinse.
Results
The strand comes out feeling padded rather than glazed. Combing gets quieter, and the short broken pieces that collect on your shoulders after a detangle start to thin out over a few weeks.
Colour-treated lengths hold their softness longer between washes. It is rich enough to flatten fine hair if you take it to the root, so keep it below the ears.
