The Mane Choice built the 4 Leaf Clover cream specifically around 4a, 4b and 4c textures, and the two things it targets, manageability and softness, are the two that tightly coiled hair genuinely struggles with. It works as a leave-in and as a styling cream depending on how much you use. A little through damp hair and it is a daily moisturiser. More of it, worked into sections, and it sets twists and braids. Either way the hair ends up softer to handle, which is what cuts breakage during styling and lets you keep length instead of losing it at the ends.
The tub holds 354.88 ml. Warm the cream between your palms first, then work it in section by section rather than trying to cover the whole head at once. Coiled hair is easier to moisturise properly in six small parts than in two big ones, and the cream is thick enough that rushing it leaves patches untouched.
