Application tips
Shampoo, squeeze, then load it on. This wants generous handfuls, since a thin coat will not hold enough water against the hair to be worth the wait.
A shower cap and the warmth off your own head helps it along. Comb from the ends up, never from the root down. Rinse cooler than you washed with, and stop while everything still feels slippery.
Results
The comb changes first. Three passes become one, and the sound of hair tearing stops.
Rinsed out, the lengths feel padded and heavy rather than squeaky, and they dry slower, which usually means the moisture went in. Ends look less see-through.
On coarse textures the softness carries into the next day instead of vanishing the moment the hair dries.
