Raw honey is the reason this mask has the following it does. It is a humectant, so it draws water into the strand rather than sitting on the outside, and on dry natural hair that is the difference between softness that lasts a day and softness that lasts a week.
Jojoba oil and olive oil handle the sealing. Jojoba is close enough to the skin's own oil to absorb rather than coat, which keeps the mask from going heavy on finer curls, while the olive oil takes care of rougher, drier ends.
Twelve ounces of it, used as a deep conditioner after shampooing. Dry, damaged and natural hair from loose waves through to 4a coils, and it is particularly good on hair that has gone brittle over a winter.
