Jojoba oil and olive oil handle the sealing. Jojoba is close enough to the skin's own oil to absorb rather than coat, which keeps the mask from going heavy on finer curls, while the olive oil takes care of rougher, drier ends.
Twelve ounces of it, used as a deep conditioner after shampooing. Dry, damaged and natural hair from loose waves through to 4a coils, and it is particularly good on hair that has gone brittle over a winter.

Application tips
Shampoo first, then squeeze the water out so the mask has somewhere to go.
Section into four, work from the ends upwards, and only take it near the roots if your scalp runs dry. Twenty minutes under a cap does the job, longer if you can sit with it. Rinse in cool water until the hair squeaks faintly, then style as normal. Most people land on once a fortnight.
Results
Rinse it out and the hair feels padded rather than stripped, with the ends noticeably less coarse between the fingers. Curl clumps look fuller and throw back more light. The real tell is at the comb: strands give under tension instead of pinging apart, and less hair collects in the basin. Weeks of accumulated dryness lift in a single sitting.
