An oil for the scalp and an oil for the hair are usually two different products.
Taliah Waajid put both in one 236 ml bottle for children, built around vitamin E. On the scalp it goes in along the partings and softens that tight, dry feeling. On the lengths it coats the strand, cuts frizz on the surface and keeps the hair supple enough that combing does less damage. Neither effect is dramatic on day one. It shows up over a few weeks as hair that is easier to handle and ends that look less worn.
Part the hair, apply a few drops directly to the scalp and massage it in, then run whatever is left down the lengths. Use it before a plaiting session, or between washes on dry hair. It suits children's waves, curls and coils that run dry, type 2A through 3B.
