Application tips
Use this one every few washes rather than every wash. Soak the locs through, put it on the scalp itself, and squeeze the lather down each loc rather than scrubbing them against each other.
Rinse for twice as long as you think you need, because trapped shampoo is what turns into buildup later. Follow with a moisturising wash or a conditioner.
Results
Weeks of product and oil come out, and the locs feel noticeably lighter afterwards. The mint leaves a cool tingle across the scalp that lasts a minute or so.
Colour looks truer once the film has gone, and locs regain some grip, which matters if yours have been slipping loose. Expect a squeakier finish than a normal wash gives you.
