Application tips
Saturate the hair first. This needs water behind it, so wet beats damp.
Spread it through one section at a time, finger-separate the worst knots before any comb goes near them, then take a wide-tooth comb up from the ends towards the root. Clip each finished section away. Rinse lightly or leave it in, depending on how much slip you want to keep.
Results
The comb stops catching, which is the entire point. Knots release rather than tearing, so less hair ends up in the sink.
