The name is the brand's, not a description of what the oil does. What it does is condition. It puts oil back on a scalp that has been stripped by shampoo or by cold weather, and it softens the hair shaft enough that a comb moves through without dragging. On 4a to 4c hair the difference shows up most at the parts and along the hairline, where dryness is easiest to feel.
237 ml is a generous bottle for an oil you use in small amounts, so treat it as a season's supply rather than a month's. Best on natural, unrelaxed hair, and useful under a protective style where you cannot get product to the scalp any other way.

Application tips
Use it between washes, not on them. Part the hair in rows, apply a small amount along each parting, then massage lightly so it spreads instead of pooling in one spot.
Whatever is left over goes through the lengths. Under braids or twists, aim the nozzle at the scalp and skip the massage so the style stays neat.
Results
The papery tightness at the parts eases, and hair that was catching on the comb starts moving again. Dense coils look darker and better defined once oiled, with a soft sheen rather than a shine.
A little goes a long way, so what you are after is a supple scalp rather than a greasy one. Nothing about the finish should feel heavy.
