The name is the brand's, not a description of what the oil does. What it does is condition. It puts oil back on a scalp that has been stripped by shampoo or by cold weather, and it softens the hair shaft enough that a comb moves through without dragging. On 4a to 4c hair the difference shows up most at the parts and along the hairline, where dryness is easiest to feel.
237 ml is a generous bottle for an oil you use in small amounts, so treat it as a season's supply rather than a month's. Best on natural, unrelaxed hair, and useful under a protective style where you cannot get product to the scalp any other way.
