T444z has a following that most hair foods do not, and the tub is smaller than the price suggests at 150g. What you get is a dense, balm-like treatment for the scalp and the lengths, used a few times a week and left in rather than rinsed.
On the scalp it settles the dry, tight, itchy feeling that comes with textured hair under protective styles or in cold weather. On the strand it conditions, so hair that felt rough and looked dull softens and picks up shine again. Both effects are cosmetic and both need repeat use to hold.
The blend is botanical and the texture is thick, so a little goes a long way. Warm it in your palms before applying or it will sit in lumps.
Part the hair, work it along the scalp, then take what is left down the lengths. Type 2a through 3b. If you are wearing braids or twists, apply on the parts and let it work its way along from there.
