It is stronger than an everyday shampoo by design, so use it occasionally rather than weekly, and follow it with conditioner.

Application tips
This is the reset wash, not the weekly one. Once a fortnight is about right, or ahead of a treatment where the hair needs to be genuinely clean.
Wet through, apply to the scalp in four quarters, massage for a full minute, rinse. Go again if the first pass barely foamed. Follow with a masque, because a clarifying wash always takes something with it.
Results
Roots that had gone flat and greasy come back with lift, and hair moves independently again instead of sitting in clumps.
The scalp feels genuinely clear rather than coated. Anything applied afterwards behaves differently, absorbing instead of sliding around on top of last month's residue. Expect dryness through the lengths, which is what the conditioner is for.
