Sunny Isle Shea Coconut Moisturizing Conditioner 12 oz
For anyone who finds protein conditioners leave their hair stiff, this is the moisture-first option in the Sunny Isle range. It still carries the brand's Jamaican black castor oil, but the headline ingredients are shea butter and coconut oil rather than keratin.
Shea butter is rich and stays on the surface, coconut oil goes into the strand, and silk amino acids give the formula the slip that makes combing possible. It comes in 12 oz and is mild enough that you can decide how often to use it based on how your hair feels rather than following a schedule.
- Daily moisture from shea butter and coconut oil
- Smooth detangling from silk amino acids
- Castor oil for a stronger-feeling strand
- Rinse-out, and usable weekly or with every wash
Apply after shampoo from mid-lengths to ends, leave a few minutes, rinse. It covers type 2a through 3c and is a good default for hair that is simply dry rather than damaged. If your hair reacts badly to protein, this is the one in the range to start with.

Application tips
Every wash, if you want it. There is no protein here to build up, so frequency is a matter of what the hair needs, not a rule.
Rinse the shampoo out, apply below the ears, and comb it through while it is on. Three minutes. If your hair drinks it, leave a trace of it in and rinse the rest away.
Results
Softness arrives with none of the stiffness attached, which is the point if protein formulas have let you down before.
Combing is easy while wet and stays easy once dry. Curls hold their hydration for days instead of drying out overnight, and the hair keeps enough body that it does not go limp under the weight.
