Sunny Isle source the coconuts in Jamaica and cold-press the oil there. Extra virgin, organic, no heat anywhere in the process, which is what keeps the potency in it. On hair, coconut oil goes into the shaft and reduces the protein lost during washing, and that is why it strengthens where a surface oil only smooths.
Three uses cover most of it: conditioning the lengths, massaging into the scalp, and moisturising skin. It works across type 2 waves through type 3c curls, and it is worth trying at this size before committing to a large jar of anything. 4 oz.

Application tips
Solid in a cold bathroom, liquid in a warm one, and either state works. Rub a little between your fingers and it turns to oil in seconds.
Two ways to run it. A pre-wash soak, applied to dry hair an hour before you shampoo, or a couple of drops smoothed over damp ends after conditioner. Leave the roots alone if your hair goes limp easily.
Results
Mid-lengths feel stronger after a few weeks of pre-wash use, and combing takes less force out of you.
Shine improves without the plastic film a silicone serum leaves behind. Applied after washing it keeps frizz down for a day or two. On skin it sinks in fast enough to get dressed straight afterwards, which is rare in an oil.
