Braids make conditioning awkward, because the product has to reach a scalp buried under a lot of hair, then rinse out cleanly. This one is built for that, applied straight to the scalp and worked down through the braids before a short processing time.

Sulfur and salicylic acid handle the flakes, one working on the scalp and the other lifting dead skin so buildup does not sit under the braids. Menthol is the cooling relief for an itch you cannot reach. Glycerin pulls in moisture, and panthenol and vitamin E look after the hair and the extensions.

How to use it

Shampoo with a gentle sulfate-free shampoo, then squeeze the excess water out of the braids. Apply a generous amount straight to the scalp, concentrating on dry, itchy or flaking areas, and massage it in before working down the braids to the ends. Leave for 3 to 5 minutes, or up to 10 if the scalp is very irritated. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, pat dry, then air dry or use a hooded dryer on cool.
