Sulfur 8 has been on shelves for decades on the strength of one thing. It makes a dry scalp feel comfortable again.
This version is the oil built for locs, twists and braids specifically. It carries sulfur and salicylic acid, and the format is the point. A 118ml bottle with a nozzle you can get between the parts, so the oil reaches the scalp rather than coating the braids on the way there.
On the hair itself it works as a moisturiser for styles that cannot be conditioned normally. Locs and twists go brittle over weeks of wear, and regular oiling keeps them supple, which means fewer strands snapping when the style comes down. Shine comes back with it and frizz settles.
Apply along the parts a few times a week and massage in. It suits wavy through curly textures worn in long-term protective styles, and it is a familiar smell if you grew up with it.
